Recovery Collection — Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about the topicals, tinctures, and edibles in our Recovery collection.

What does the Recovery collection include?

Recovery groups together topicals (Hot Cream and Cold Cream), higher-potency tinctures, and full-spectrum gummies that customers commonly reach for around physical activity. It's a browsing shortcut based on common use-occasion, not a claim about athletic or medical recovery outcomes.

What's the difference between Hot Cream and Cold Cream for a post-activity routine?

Hot Cream uses warming ingredients (capsaicin, eucalyptus) that some people prefer before activity or in the morning. Cold Cream uses cooling ingredients (spearmint, menthol) that some people prefer afterward or as part of an evening routine. Neither is formulated to be more or less effective than the other — it's a matter of sensation preference.

Should I use a topical, tincture, or edible for recovery, or combine them?

That's entirely a matter of personal preference. Topicals are applied locally to the skin, while tinctures and edibles are ingested. Some customers use a topical together with a tincture or gummy; if you do, it's worth being mindful of your total daily intake.

What potency should I look for in a Recovery product?

Recovery items range widely in potency — topicals from 1000mg to 5000mg, and tinctures from 1000mg up to our 5000mg Max Strength formula. If you're new to a product or format, starting on the lower end of that range is a reasonable approach.

When should I use these products around activity?

There's no single right timing — some customers use a topical before activity and a tincture or edible afterward, or vice versa. Since ingested products (tinctures, edibles) take longer to take effect than topicals, plan accordingly if timing matters to you.

Are Recovery products tested for potency?

Yes, every product is tested by an independent, accredited lab, with batch-specific Certificates of Analysis posted on our Lab Results page.

Should I check with a doctor before adding these to a fitness routine?

If you're managing an injury, take medication, or have a health condition, yes — check with your doctor first, since cannabinoids can interact with certain medications and everyone's situation is different.
