Calling all chocolate lovers! There's something truly special about combining rich, creamy chocolate with a little something extra to take your treat to the next level. Whether you're in the mood for something light and festive or dark and indulgent, these recipes featuring Colorado Cures’ Delta-8 chocolate bars are guaranteed to hit the spot.

1. Birthday Cake Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 bar of Colorado Cures Birthday Cake Chocolate Bar, chopped into small pieces
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles (optional, for extra fun)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until incorporated.
  5. Stir in the white chocolate chips and chopped Delta-8 Birthday Cake chocolate.
  6. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions, making sure each portion contains 1/8 of the total chopped Delta-8 chocolate (2.5g per cookie).
  7. Shape the dough into cookies and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Add sprinkles on top if desired.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Note: Each cookie contains exactly 2.5g of the Delta-8 chocolate, so enjoy responsibly!

2. Dark Cherry Chocolate Muffins

  • 1 bar of Colorado Cures Dark Chocolate Cherry Chocolate Bar, chopped into small pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup pitted and chopped cherries (fresh or frozen)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with 8 paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add the milk and mix until combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in the chopped cherries and chopped Delta-8 Cherry chocolate.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among 8 muffin cups, making sure each portion contains 1/8 of the total chopped Delta-8 chocolate (2.5g per muffin).
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  9. Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
